The San Miguel 360 Mercado … or SMA 360 as you’ll probably get to know it as.

What is it? … a full-featured electronic community Mercado for the people and businesses of San Miguel.

You can post and view Ads for all sorts of items .. for sale, for rent, to give away, looking for, jobs, events … and if we haven’t got a place for it now, let us know and we’ll make room for just about anything… that’s the 360 part.

Three Service level options:

  • Anonymous … for FREE!
  • Personal member… just US30 per YEAR … gets you unlimited Ads each with a picture and Admin pages for management of your Ads
  • Business member… just US$15 per month … with unlimited Ads and up to 5 pictures on each Ad, your Admin pages for management, … AND your own STORE for your collection of Product and Service Ads.

Viewers can find what they’re looking for using the …

  • Themes and categories
  • Lists of NEW posts in the last 24 hours, 5 days or 10 days
  • Search by Keyword phrase
  • Business Stores

Viewers can contact ‘Owners’ by leaving a Comment on the Ad page, and at the same time send an email with their comment or question.

Rentals & Real Estate

INFO San Miguel now has two new Theme sections … one for Accommodations / Rentals, and one for Real Estate. You will find two links on the Themes page (click on the Themes link in the navigation menu above) that will take you to these new Theme pages.

These links now are displaying Properties that appear for San Miguel in our associated marketing network … Rentals – Real Estate – Mexico. If you have a Property that you would like to include, you can learn more about your options by following these links…

For owners of individual properties learn more here.
For agents or agencies with multiple properties, you should click here for your information.

Our viewers will enjoy the extensive property profile descriptions, the new mouse-over Galleries for images, the Flash movies, Videos, even the Magic Galleries that are included on some property profiles.
The Rental properties may include a Reservation Calendar if the owner wishes to include one.

The comprehensive Search feature allows you to search for properties that you might be interested in by Location, Type of Property, Price range, and number of Bedrooms. For Rentals you can search for properties by even Availability for your Arrival and Departure dates … and for properties that may be available for Long-term … or for House Swaps or Exchanges. You can even use the Keyword search feature that will allow you to search for specific amenities … like ‘pools’, ‘maid service’, ‘Internet’, ‘pet-friendly’, etc. … words that are used in the property description.

At the bottom of each property profile, you will find a Reservation / Information Request form that you can complete to make contact with the property owner or agent.

For property owners and agents, you may be surprised to learn that your property will not only appear here on INFO San Miguel, but will be included in the properties displayed on multiple other websites as well.

Owners / agents are also provided with their own Administration page so they can update their information, or add new images at any time… and the changes become effective immediately across all the websites in our network… including on their pages of INFO San Miguel.

The New Directories are LIVE!

Look at this!INFO San Miguel’s three new Directories provide the quickest, most reliable way of connecting with People, Groups and Businesses in the San Miguel de Allende area.

We provide the web pages and programs … and YOU, our viewers, enter your information on a simple Registration form, and instantly your information appears in our Directories.

You can update your own information at any time so your details stay reliable.

Each record requires ‘renewal’ every 12 months …. and you will be reminded to renew by email. Records that are not renewed drop out of the Directory automatically.

These Directory services are FREE, but we have added some options like … links to your website … that have a small yearly fee.

Our Directories are a simple beginning example of how and why YOU will want to become part of the new ‘interactive’ INFO San Miguel.

You should start by entering YOUR information in the People Directory first. Your personal record has a P_ID # identifier that you must enter when creating a record for either a Group or for your Business in these other Directories.

Hello world!

Welcome to the new version of INFO San Miguel!

This new website is much more interactive that our previous website … and we hope you will not be shy in joining our on-line community for San Miguel de Allende.

This is the first news blog entry for our new website. This area of the website will be devoted to NEWS … and really devoted! Our previous popular weekly news and events summary called New & Exciting in San Miguel has been re-named to The Weekender and for all our previous subscribers, that content will appear each weekend right here on our news blog.

Please note though that your previous subscription to either our emailed newsletter or the RSS news feed will no longer get you the news … you MUST re-subscribe!  Everything has changed!

For the newsletter version, use the Newsletter subscription box to the right … just add your email address again.

For the RSS News feed version, you need to use the Entries RSS news link at the top right of the page.
Now you can also subscribe to the Comments RSS news feed as well.  This will bring you the Comments that our viewers leave relating to our News postings.

With the increased focus INFO San Miguel now provides to People, Groups, and Businesses in San Miguel, you will see an increase in news from these new sources too … and not just in the news in The Weekender.

We will have much more to say on this aspect of our news in coming news posts … it should be exciting for everyone.
