In the USA, there are new rules for voters in the Democratic primary (not the Republican). Democrats Abroad are recognized as the "51st State," and so on February 5, when most states hold their primaries, Democrats Abroad will sponsor a global primary. At the Biblioteca Pública you may cast your Democratic vote, IF you have gone on line before then and registered as a member of
democratsabroad.org. Your vote will then be counted during the National Convention of Democrats in August. Because February 5 is a Mexican National Holiday, the voting doors of the Biblioteca will be open at Reloj 50A. If one is unable to get to the Biblioteca on February 5, register on the Democrats Abroad
(democratsabroad.org) on line and receive your ballot electronically. This must be done before January 31, 2008.
