CASA Offers HIV Testing

For the fourth year, CASA has offered free, anonymous HIV testing to residents of the state of Guanajuato.  Most tests are administered to women seeking prenatal care.  Doctors refer patients for testing from CASA's general clinic.  

Also, every month, a number of additional tests are administered to patients who come to CASA specifically for HIV testing.  Those tested receive the results a week later.

They are also provided with information regarding contraceptives, protection against sexually transmitted diseases and the realities of HIV/AIDS.
